Arches National Park First Look and Sunrise Adventure Session
When Sarah + Jared first reached out to me I knew when this day came it would be the best day full of adventures. I was welcomed with open arms and hearts from this couples close family. We spent a lot of time together - we cried, we smiled, we laughed, and when the day came to a end it was bitter sweet to say goodbye!
The day started before dark with just the three of us at Arches National Park. If you want to see part two of this special day find the link on the bottom of this page!

Sarah and Jared decided to start their day off with a first look at sunrise in Arches National Park. A "first look" in a wedding refers to the moment when the couple sees each other for the first time sometime before the ceremony. This can happen in a private, intimate setting, and it's an alternative to the traditional approach of seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony. Before you decide if a first look is for you here are some things to consider:
A first look allows the couple to share an intimate and emotional moment in private before the ceremony. A major pro to seeing each other before the ceremony can help alleviate nerves and anxiety. Sharing a private moment can ease any stress that you may have leading up to the ceremony.
By having a first look, couples can plan additional adventures and ultimately, have extended photography time. This can be especially beneficial if there are specific locations or lighting conditions that you want to take advantage of.
Lastly, by having a first look, it can provide more flexibility in the wedding day timeline. It allows for more efficient use of time between the ceremony and reception, potentially freeing up more time for celebration.

After the couples sunrise adventure session in Arches National Park we all had a break before their sunset ceremony + dinner with their family. Before we headed out for the ceremony I came to the couples Air bnb and grabbed a handful of photos to help tell more of their love story, and that included their fur baby! This one was important to Sarah - as you can see below...
