Moab Cliffside Elopement
As promised here is part two of Sarah + Jared's adventure of a lifetime in Moab - and you're not gonna want to miss this! I might be biased, but nothing beats busting down a bumpy dirt road to the middle of nowhere to your ceremony location! Check out all the details of Sarah + Jared Moab Cliffside Elopement at Sunset below.
GETTING THERE:
Sarah and Jared knew that they wanted a private location for their ceremony so after viewing my customized Moab Location Guide they knew this one was perfect for them. I will leave the a name of the location out to protect the area and privacy of the couple.
Getting to the location includes a little bit of off-roading and adventure, so the couple rented 3 jeeps for them and their guests to get there without any issues and boy was it a blast! Even the couples grandparents were able to join us!
Tips for choosing an intimate location:
Choose Less Popular Times: Weekdays and early mornings tend to be less busy - espcially when getting married in a National Park. During these less popular times theres sure to be fewer visitors, providing a more private experience.
Off-Peak Seasons: Consider having your wedding during the off season. In Moab winter is considered to be the off season, but summer can be slower if you're willing to endure a bit a heat! Choosing one of these times will result in less crowds.
Hire The Right Photographer: Yeah duh! Photographers who are familar with and photograph in Moab frequently can help with all of these logistics. If you inquire with a photographer who is unwilling or just isn't familar with Moab, consider widening your search.
JUST THE COUPLE:
After the ceremony, family photos and enjoying some time with their guests, Sarah and Jared said goodbye to their guests to enjoy some time alone in this magical place. While their guests headed back to the airbnb we took this opprutunity to roam around and take some epic photos without everyone watching.
AFTER DINNER PARTY:
After the couples privite moment on the cliffside they headed back to the town of Moab where their family set up a small dinner party. Sarah's brother showed off his cooking skills and impressed everyone with his dinner menu. I stuck around to document this time and it was a joy to witness.
